Michael Bird, CFP®, CIMA®, AIF®

Michael Bird joined ASI along with the acquired Valentine Ventures firm, where he began his career as an intern in 2016. Over the years, Michael has evolved into the role of an Advisor serving both institutional and individual clients.

Making a real difference in clients’ lives is a huge motivator for Michael, and he loves that he can tangibly add value for them. Helping people with their personal finances is what originally drew him to the world of investing, and his competitive nature fuels him to work tirelessly to achieve the best results.

Outside of work, Michael and his wife spend much of their free time mentoring middle school and high school students at their church. Call them crazy, but they have been volunteering for years and find the experience rewarding and full of joy and purpose. Navy, their Golden Retriever pup, also brings laughter and fun to their full lives.

Michael graduated with honors from Oregon State University in 2017. In 2020, he earned the Certified Investment Management Analyst® certification, administered by Investments & Wealth Institute® and taught in conjunction with Yale School of Management. He also holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® designation and his Series 65 License.
