John Bellman, CFP®

John joined ASI in 2017 as an addition to our research team in our Bend office. Prior to ASI, John began his career with Fidelity Investments in their Westlake, TX and Covington, KY offices before heading west to join Charles Schwab as an Associate Financial Consultant at their downtown Portland, OR office in 2015.

He believes that before setting out on any great adventure you need to start with a plan, and the same should go for your finances. Over the past 4 years he has assisted clients with developing holistic financial plans and choosing the right investments to go along. He believes that investing is powerful and enjoys providing the road map to helping clients achieve their dreams.

Outside of work, John is excited to be back in the Pacific Northwest and more specifically Bend. John grew up in Ohio and his passion for the outdoors and winter sports lead him to Bend. You can find John spending his time with his girlfriend, son, and Shar-Pei Lab at some of their favorite local spots, like Mt. Bachelor in the winter or camping along Cascade Lakes Highway in the summer. He also enjoys spending time out on the disc golf course as a member of the Central Oregon Disc Golf Club.

John is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and earned his Bachelors of Science in Business Administration focused in Economics from The Ohio State University. He holds his Series 7 and Series 66 license.
